Many
know Networks are the base for any business. The business may be illegal
or legal. But this incident is based on my experience with
the approach of an illegal network that works on small scale. Let me
start sharing my experience...
How they approached me?
It’s simple.
They followed me for a week, they said. The collected details of my family background,
and that the simple sentiment.
How they reached me?
I
used to go to college by train. When the college gets over, I went to the train
and reached my native place. That day I don’t have bike to go home from the
junction of my town. So I had a walk towards my home. I noticed that someone is
following me. I suddenly stopped and turned myself. I saw a man of 35, having a
small bag and a towel in his shoulder. I thought that he is in search of an address.
So I didn’t bother more. So I started walking. He called me...
Hey boy, would u please help me out...
I said,’yeah sure’. What can i do for u? I asked.
He said,'i
know u are studying in this college and I am been following for one week and I
know your father very well.'
I said, ok sir, what can I do for u?
He
then said, ‘would u please hand over this bag to the boys in ur college hostel.'
I
said,'ok sir will give it. What is in the bag, and to whom I should give?
Its
weeds and tablets for the boys, he answered. (I can’t bear the smell of the weed.
I came to know that it is a weed for pleasure.)
I
returned the bag to the stranger, and move fast as I can go. He stood there
watching me and said something about my brother who is studying in the nearby school.
I got shocked. I ran into the church and sat on the table near the alter. I got
worrying about my brother. I started crying. I don’t know what to do there.
Suddenly
I got an idea. I wiped my tears and ran home as fast as I could.
For
2 weeks I didn't get any kind of disturbances from them. One day I bunked my
classes in the afternoon and went out to the bus stop near my college. For my
surprise I came to see the same man there standing, now in a different look.
(With lungi, cigarettes, pan in hand).
I
made my mind not to bunk the class now and started my walk towards the class. I
called my dad and said what the thing is going on ,and asked a professor to help
me out of this.
My dad gave a good counseling as he is a
police officer. The professor gave me courage to face them. My dad told that
they will not do anything to my brother. So I got relaxed.
What
did the institution response to my status?
I got astonished that the
management asked me to let this problem away and concentrate on studies. What a
shame!!
The professor said that they may be a big network, we can’t face them. So let them out of your mind.
The professor said that they may be a big network, we can’t face them. So let them out of your mind.
I am ashamed of these answers. I got worried
about my friends in hostel too.
Then
I started asking and inquiring of boys who are misusing the hostel rules and I went
to a place where the weeds are been supplied for inquiry, just as a customer.
To my surprise, they recognized me as a customer
and guide me towards the hut, where they kept all the weeds.OH MAN IT REALLY
GAVE ME A VOMITING SENSATION!!...
Then I gave just two twenty rupees note. They
gave me a pack of weeds. It is easy to find the place but if we wish to get the
weed.
Then
I came home, thrown the weeds in the drainage. And started relaxing …
My dad gave intimation to the inspector
about weed supply and they started gradually and found many suppliers around my
native place and that thing gave me a good relief.
But
the thing is after these incidents for around 4 weeks, I didn't see the
stranger who approached me first…
Then
I realize that Networks are the main building block for these kind of illegal
business..
Oh god,
nowadays young people who are under stress are easily attracted to these kinds
of illegal jobs. So be aware of these things and make sure you give awareness
to the other people around you.
I
hope this incident will be useful to be aware of what could be happen and what
may not be happen…Either good or bad…it’s up to the minds of human beings….
Thank
you …!!
